IP-Tests / Whois Lookup

The whois lookup will check the details of a domain name or ip address. It will reveal the owner and tecnical contacts, registar details, and dates of a domain or IP. In the case of a domain name, whois lookup can be used to find out whether a domain name is available or has already been taken by someone else.

WHOIS is a query and response protocol that is widely used for querying databases that store the registered users or assignees of an Internet resource, such as a domain name or an IP address block.
